This compilation leans towards the heavier side of Bruce solo-career. The Tattooed millionaire material sticks out a bit from the rest of the compilation. The underrepresentation of Skunkworks material is also notable. The cd also features two new tracks; the heavy song "Broken" and the Maidenesque "Silver Wings".
But the real reason for any fan of Bruce music to buy this record is the "Strictly limited bonus CD" that comes with the first edition of the record. The bonus disc is said to be removed from future editions. It features a mix between unreleased tracks and various B-sides covering the diffrent times and eras of Bruce solo singles. The exclusive previously unreleased tracks are "Wicker Man" (no connection to the Maiden track at all, except for the title), "Acoustic Song", "Midnight Jam", the demo version of "Man of Sorrows", the live version of "Jerusalem" that never got onto "Scream for me Brazil" and, last but not least, "Dracula", the first studio recording of our man in favour, recorded way back in 1977. Almost at the end of the cd is "The voice of Crube", which is a spoken introduction to the various bonus tracks by Bruce himself.
With the first edition of the CD is also a short tale about "Crube, Sreg, King Dor and Prince Harry" written by Bruce, sorry, Crube! Unfortunatly is the lyrics and recording data for the material on the bonus disc not featured in the booklet which is a bit of a bummer. But apart from that the booklet is most enjoyable with a biography by Bruce about his solo career, lyrics and lots of photos.
The album was released in Europe on September 24 2001.
