![]() A book that was given away for free at signingsessions to promote the album. It has 28 pages and measures 8 x 6.5 cm and contains a short story on how the album came together and a section on "things you never knew about Bruce Dickinson". |
The album was recorded in Battery studios in London and was produced by Chris Tsangrides. It featured the Mott the Hoople cover All the young dudes (also released as single) which Bruce changed the words for. In the line "My brother's back at home with the Beatles and the Stones" he exchanged the word "brother" to "father", since he thought it was such a long time the original words were written that it fitted better to have his father back at home with the Beatles and the Stones.
The album was a way for Bruce to ventilate his workoholism but he did nothing that he thought would scare people off as it was made "under the watchful eye of the collective", i.e. Iron Maiden.
