The show was held to celebrate the release of "Tommy Vance's Metal Explosion", a compilation album of the Friday Rock show sessions. (Samson contributes with the track "Take it like a man"). Samson headlined the event and the other bands on the bill were; Praying Mantis, Taurus, and Money.
