Some would argue that this release doesn't even feature Bruce properly. His only contribution to it is a loud scream.

Wheatus had a big hit with the song "Teenage dirtbag" in which Iron Maiden are mentioned in the lyrics;

This might have been the link to get Bruce to contribute to one of their subsequent singles "Wannabe gangstar".

The single was released in 2002 on Sony records (cat. no. 672127 2) in the US. It spent five weeks in the UK charts peaking at number 22.
